Recycling Wednesdays
Remember, we are now single-stream recycling every Wednesday. Easy. Just place all cans and bottles and all paper and cardboard out every Wednesday for pickup! You can use separate containers or all in one, whichever is easier for you. IWS will sort at their facility. And, throw out pizza boxes with the garbage.

GENERAL RECYCLING INFORMATION

• Containers must be clean and empty
• All recycling numbers are accepted (1-7)
• All glass, plastic, waxed paper and metal containers are accepted for recycling.
• Dried paint in cans with lids off are recyclable
• Visit bcua.org for hazardous waste drop off

THESE ARE NOT RECYCLABLE

• Boxes with residue (especially pizza boxes)
• Used paper plates, paper cups or paper towels
• Styrofoam, plastic bags, plastic shopping bags
• Plastic knives, forks, spoons or dishes
• Ceramic, pottery, crystal, cups, plates or glasses, flowerpots, garden hoses
• Windows, plate glass, mirror glass or light bulbs
• Meat trays
• Automotive-use containers (e.g. antifreeze jugs or motor oil bottles)
• Household batteries
• Building and construction material
