Demarest Veterans

Memorial Day, held on the last Monday of May, is dedicated to honoring and remembering the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Annually, Demarest hosts a Memorial Day Parade to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice serving our Country. The parade serves as a public and communal way to remember the sacrifices made by fallen soldiers, allowing our community to pay tribute and express their gratitude.

Veterans Day, observed on November 11th, honors all who have served in the U.S. military to thank them for their service and recognize the sacrifices made. In 2025 the Borough plans to honor Veterans at our November 10 Council Meeting.
